Letters from Dr. Gose

Prenuptial Agreement

As I, ________________________________, enter into the marital contract with, a former Pepperdine Year In Europe student, 1985-86, Heidelberg, Germany, I, the aforesaid, acknowledge and accept a prior commitment on my spouse's-to-be part to attend a retreat of fellow Heidelbergers in April of 1996. I dutifully recognize and accept this group's prior claim to the aforementioned's time during this occasion of their ten year reunion. Further, I agree to do whatever necessary to make such aforementioned trip financially feasible including selling my car; working a second job; selling my birthright; mortgaging my home; renting out any future children. Further yet, I recognize and accept a moral duty, if not contractual obligation, to have children between 1991 and 1995, so that our children can accompany the Goses in 2012 for the second group of "real" Heidelbergers. Although simple acceptance of these conditions are sufficient for the completion of this contract, I recognize 'joyful' acceptance makes it much more likely said spouse will let me come, too. I, ___________________________, being of sound and clear mind, to hereby commit myself to the dictates of this contract.
