Letters from Dr. Gose

Dear Heidelbergers:

Pearl Harbor Day is near and time for my promised Christmas package: rumor update; latest directory; assurances I've sent our Christmas card to Dr. Luft; and a prenuptial agreement for any prospective spouses--7 1/2 years until our ten year reunion! So, here it all is, plus Janice, Creedance, and my wishes for the merriest of Christmases and happiest of new years.

To the best of my knowledge

Connie is out of the country--living in Texas. Carlos is still in B.H. working on films. Kim A. is working on her teaching with PU. Is Janille still in Paris? Caroline is working for Jenny Craig. Jonathan, Midori, and Eric are working for AT&T. Shannon has finished her military obligation and, last I heard, looking for work. Kathy is working in personnel for an insurance firm in Culver City. Kim C. is working on her support for Campus Crusade. Tanja is working on her Ph.D. at UCLA. Is Zoila still at ABC? Becky and Russ are still entrepreneurs in Orange County and I've heard Diana is working with them. Char is with Red Cross in the city Creedance was born, Redwood City. Michaelann is working on her teaching credential. Shayne is in Law School at Pepperdine. Carolyn is in Texas working on her doctorate.

Jeff G. is applying to Law Schools (small irony). Brett, Cristina, Dane, Jeff S. are trying to be the last Heidelbergers to graduate--probably April. Kevin and Janet are finishing in December. Janet's working on her credential. Mark Harris is in Real Estate. Erin is working at Moorehaus--remind Dr. Luft of our April 1996 visit, please.

Cindy finished her credential yesterday. I did her exit interview. Jennifer is teaching Harvard bound Kindergarteners in Westlake--she and Erik made the second HD couple to marry--I've predicted there'd be at least three! Volunteers? Sarah's moved back to the east coast looking for an advertising job in N.Y.? Brian's looking into Peace Corps; Teaching; Police work. Patrick's working on his M.A. at PU. Dena is managing a photography studio. Maz has returned to Portland with Kimberly Clark. Steve Nicks is interviewing in New Jersey. Kristy is working on her credential with P.U. Danielle married Jon Haffner--and are you teaching! An "anonymous" friend wanted me to pass the rumor Kowanda Richardson is pregrant, just because she thought it's time for Kowanda to have a kid, not because it's true. Don's happily married to Kimberly and in Med School. Kim S. is marrying Scott Lambert and the two of them are co-teaching with me in January, "Beginning Softball," which, at 68 students, is the most "popular" P.E. course in activity P.E. Cara is working in the Valley? Is Jan still in Italy? Stephanie is in broadcasting in Co. Karin has moved from Y.I.E. to Admissions. Brad is working temporarily in the PU Personnel Office. Debbie has finished her credential and substituting in Oceanside. Paul is working with a word processing firm. Monica is working on her credential. Carrie is teaching junior high math. Kelley married and is now McLaughlin. David is teaching English in China. Todd is a sales rep for Hawley Products. Tim Y. has returned home due to an illness in the family. Our prayers.

I haven't heard, in awhile, about Scott Carlson, Tom Goolsby, Audrey Karr (heard she married), Jeanne Kroy, Paige Myers, Jon Rankin, Julie Trimble--keep them cards and letters coming group.

Think 1996. Until then be good and don't take no wooden nickels.
