1. Read the book by Terry Christensen, "Reel Politics."

2. Watch any eleven of the "featured" films.

3. After each film notify me via e-mail where and when you saw the film and include a paragraph that indicates whether you think Christensen "got it right" in his remarks about that film. It is usually very helpful to include at least two quotes from the text and then to explain how they apply to your review. Submit only one review at a time and wait until you have had feedback from me before submitting a subsequent review.

4. Write a five page paper in which you critique in depth one of the films you have seen according to the perspectives of "Reel Politics." If your paper is less than five pages, please respond to the "Expressive Outcomes" assignment from the last paragraph of Option A.
