Adding the Analysis Tool Pack to Microsoft Excel

Start Excel

Start > Programs > Microsoft Excel

Tools > Add-Ins

In the Add-Ins Dialog box that opens, place a check beside the Analysis ToolPak and Analysis ToolPak - VBA options (you may have other items checked as well).

OK.

This will add these options to your Excel software. You may be prompted for your MS Office or MS Excel CD-ROMs.

Once this process has completed, check that everything worked correctly.

Tools > Data Analysis

You should see the Data Analysis Dialog Box open

If the Data Analysis Dialog Box appears, you have correctly installed the necessary statistics packages for the course.
