  5. Experimental design – how to maximize internal validity (extent to which the results of the study are due to the intervention; control group, randomization, pretest, double-blind) and external validity (generalizability)
  6. What is an Institutional Review Board (IRB)?  When was this concept implemented and why is it important to protect human subjects?
